Imagine that you too can learn to read compositions like a PRO. Even though INCI looks like a complicated chemistry book, you will no longer be confused with our tips and a brand new encyclopedia on the web - you will learn to recognize cosmetic ingredients once and for all.
INCI or International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients is exactly what we call the composition of a cosmetic product. This is where you will find the information hidden between the lines, whether it is really a natural product or not. But they seem like foreign words written in small print, so how can you understand it?
Don't worry - you don't have to know dozens or hundreds of harmful substances, or even think about them and look into composition of a product for hours. Just know a few tricks and have our encyclopedia at hand - and you are set. You will also know whether you apply quality product onto your skin or something you would not even smear on shoes. Ehm.
INCI ranking or the key to variety of ingredients
So first of all, it is important to understand the order of the composition. INCI is listed in descending order of the amount of the ingredient. The first component is thus represented in the largest amount, the last in the smallest.
If, for example, water comes first, then you mainly pay for it. However, some preparations contain flower hydrates instead of water. You will easily fall in love with those. And also rare oils or vegetable butters. What you prefer is up to you.

- VÝBORNÉ (zeleně) - to nejlepší, co ve složení můžete najít
- DOBRÉ (žlutě) - ani těchto složek se nemusíte obávat
- PŘIJATELNÉ (oranžově) - přijatelné látky, ne však nutně přírodní a vhodné
- ŠPATNÉ (červeně) - nic dobrého, škodlivé a syntetické látky
- NEPŘIJATELNÉ (černě) - nepřijatelné látky, lépe se jim vyhýbat
Takhle zjistíte, zda je látka škodlivá či nikoli. Hračka.
Sledujte certifikáty, používejte aplikace
Kromě toho, že postupně tréninkem vyselektujete škodlivé látky, které v kosmetice přijímat nechcete, můžete snadno rozpoznávat kvalitní přírodní kosmetiku – pomohou vám také certifikáty a aplikace.
Které certifikáty stojí za zmínku? Třeba Demeter, BDIH, EcoCert, Cosmetique BIO, USDA Organic, ICEA, NaTrue a další.
